According to the U.S. State Department, Romanian law continues to prohibit all international adoption, whether by EU residents or non-EU residents, except in the case of a child whose close relative (defined as grandparent, aunt, or uncle) lives abroad and wishes to adopt him/her. Sharon

Thank-you for sharing the news of the petition as well. We also don't like to hear how children are left behind in any kind of situation! It seems like most countries have put a temporary hold on International adoptions latley!
